Embracing failure is my best trait.

Passionate about cybersecurity. Specialised in cloud security, IAM, and zero trust architecture. Outside of cybersecurity, I love playing football and am a big fan of Villeneuve, PTA, and Park Chan Wook. Former cybersecurity analyst with the Republic of Korea Army. Engineering transfer student for UBC. Quadlingual communicator across English, Korean, Chinese, and Tagalog.

My focus is the intersection of security and systems — building the technical foundation to work on the infrastructure that underpins modern digital and financial networks.

01 — About

Security-minded.
Systems-oriented.

I'm a computer engineering student studying in Vancouver, completing the Common First-Year Engineering Curriculum with scheduled transfer into UBC's Faculty of Engineering. My path here is deliberate and unconventional.

Served in the Republic of Korea Army as a squad leader sergeant and cybersecurity analyst at the 2nd Operations Command — monitoring live threats, conducting incident response, and maintaining operational security across networked defense infrastructure.

My long-term interest is financial cybersecurity: securing the infrastructure underlying capital markets, fintech platforms, and institutional financial systems. I'm actively building my portfolio through CTFs, bug bounty programs, and independent research.
